Giant Husband And ‘Tiny’ Wife Explain How They Make Intimacy Works

A ‘tiny’ wife with a giant husband has been asked about intimacy in their relationship, and now she’s spilled the beans.

Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, who often refers to himself as Thor, is best known for playing Gregor Clegane (‘The Mountain’) in television‘s Game of Thrones and for roles in The Northman, Operation Ragnarok, and Pharaoh’s War.

But outside of his acting prowess, there’s another striking element to Thor.

He is widely regarded as one of the most decorated strength athletes of all time – and with him being a whopping 6 foot 9, and his wife is just 5 foot, there’s quite a height difference, if you ask us!

This massive height difference has caused many fans around the world to ask the couple a rather intimate question, and they’ve now revealed all.

Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson and Kelsey Henson’s relationship

Björnsson has been married to Kelsey Henson since October 2018.

He penned alongside a sweet photo of their special day: “It is with great pleasure that I now get to call Kelsey Morgan Henson my wife!

“I get to hold this beautiful woman through thick and thin for the rest of our lives! I’m so excited for all of the future adventures we will tackle side by side.”

The couple’s heartbreaking loss

Heartbreakingly, in 2023, the couple devastatingly experienced a pregnancy loss.

Björnsson and Henson took to Instagram and disclosed that they’d experienced a brief time with their daughter, Grace Morgan Hafthorsdottir, who was born stillborn at 21 and a half weeks gestation.

“After a noticeable decrease in movement we found out her heart had stopped beating,” the couple wrote. “Words cannot describe our pain of this loss or our happiness at being able to spend time with our daughter.

“She is absolutely beautiful, with blonde lashes and brows and a little smile for mom and dad.

“The love we feel for her is overwhelming. The grief we feel will be with us forever but so will the love. All of our hopes and dreams for her have been taken away from us but I know I will be with her again. Her spirit lives on through us and her siblings.”

The couple also share a son named Stormur, born in September of 2025, while Björnsson shares a daughter named Theresa Líf with his ex-girlfriend.

Cruel trolling

Björnsson has previously revealed that while he’s never challenged to a fight in person, he is regularly forced to block tormentors online.

He said (per Daily Star): “I don’t get people asking me to fight face-to-face but there’s a lot of brave folk on the internet.

“No one has ever threatened me in real life but on Facebook and Twitter it’s all the time.

“You just get internet warriors.”

He added: “People try to be rude against me, my family, my girlfriend, anything.

“People like to be mean to people through social media. That’s what people do today.

“If there’s anything that offends me, especially if it’s towards my family, I just block them. I don’t accept that. I don’t get upset because I like to focus on the positive.

“I’m the world’s strongest man. What have they achieved?”

How they make intimacy work

Aside from their family life, the public has one major question when it comes to this couple.

Well, no – the question isn’t what you’re thinking – and you should get your mind out of the gutter!

One commenter joked: “No matter how big the TV is, the remote is about the same size.”

Another said: “When they lie in bed they’re both the same height.”

“The mountain may have a small chimney,” theorized a third.

Somebody else wrote: “I bet when they hug, she disappears like a phone in a giant’s hand.”

But the question everyone is actually asking is a little more PG.

During an Instagram Q&A, a person asked Henson: “How do you kiss? Do you jump into his arms every time and wrap your legs around his waist? Please post a picture of this impressive action.”

She responded: “Ah, he bends, I tiptoe. Or just say screw it, pick me up!”

One commenter said: “How they kiss. Um. Yes, that’s exactly what I was wondering about…”

“Nope, the real question wasn’t really answered!” another pointed out.
