Never-before-seen photos of ‘Deadpool Killer’ Wade Wilson show him looking unrecognizable behind bars.
Wilson, dubbed the ‘Deadpool Killer’ for sharing a name with the Marvel character, was sentenced to death in 2024 after the slayings of Kristine Melton, 35, and Diane Ruiz, 43, in 2019.
During the trial, Wilson developed a following of admirers who flooded social media with posts defending him.
A fanbase that shocked the courtroom
Several women wrote letters to the judge, describing him as ‘misunderstood’ and arguing that he deserved a second chance, despite graphic evidence presented to the jury.
Jurors heard harrowing testimony over several days, including descriptions of the murders and Wilson’s behavior in the aftermath.
At times, the courtroom reportedly fell silent as prosecutors laid out the timeline of events.
Following his death sentencing, State Attorney Amira Fox slammed such supporters of Wilson, declaring him to be ‘the most poor representation of a man there could ever be.’
Now, shocking images show the ‘Deadpool Killer’ looking far from the suits and slicked-back hair he was seen with in his trial.

What the jury found Wilson guilty of
Wilson was sentenced to death after being found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder, in addition to grand theft of a motor vehicle, battery, burglary of a dwelling, and first-degree petit theft by the same jury, per TooFab.
According to the prosecution, Wilson’s crime spree began in October 2019 when he murdered Melton in her home after the two had apparently taken drugs and had s** together.
He is then alleged to have stolen her car and used her cell phone to contact another woman, Melissa Montanez, 41, who was reportedly his girlfriend.
After meeting up with her, Wilson allegedly assaulted Montanez and fled in Melton’s vehicle.
He is said to have encountered Ruiz in Cape Coral when asking for directions. Wilson murdered her by strangulation and repeatedly ran her over with Melton’s car ‘until she looked like spaghetti,’ according to testimony from Wilson’s father.
Gardiner told the jury that Wilson went into a restaurant covered in blood after murdering Ruiz.
He is said to have told the owner, described as an acquaintance, that he had killed two women.
The prosecution noted that Wilson fled when the owner called 911 and then argued that he broke into the home of a couple who were out of town, completing his horrific crime spree.

During the trial, Wilson reportedly attempted to cover up many of his face tattoos, including swastikas and skeletal markings around his mouth.
Wilson’s attempts to hide his facial tattoos in court were seen by some as a deliberate effort to soften his appearance in front of the jury, contrasting sharply with the imagery inked permanently across his face.
A dramatic physical transformation behind bars
Now, jailhouse photos released to blogger Melissa Jade under a Freedom of Information request show the ‘Deadpool Killer’s’ appearance has drastically changed.
Wilson’s Lee County jail-approved tablet snaps a photo every time it is accessed to ensure it is only used by the inmate it was approved for.
Pictures, which were reportedly taken between 2023 and late 2024, show him with cracked and missing teeth and a jaw seemingly out of alignment.
He also appears to have gained weight.
According to the Daily Mail, Wilson is currently being held in ‘disciplinary confinement’ inside the Union Correctional Institution following his transfer from Lee County.
It’s believed he’s received at least 10 violations behind bars.
Wilson’s current disciplinary confinement means he is not eligible for regular guests or visitation rights.

The images serve as a stark reminder of the reality facing Wilson on death row, offering a grim counterpoint to the romanticized image that once fueled his online following.
